Updating an existing install

Installer route. Quit your DAW, run the installer above, reopen. That is the whole thing on Windows and macOS, and it updates the plugins, the standalone app and MIDISketch Audio Send together.

Hot-swap route. If you installed by hand, quit your DAW and drop the new plugin file over the old one in your plugin folder, keeping the same name. Reopen and your sessions load with the new build. This is the only route on Linux.

Your license key stays activated across updates. If a session asks you to activate again, the key is on your license page.

Installing it

  1. Quit your DAW before installing.
  2. Double-click the downloaded .exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info then Run anyway.
  3. Open your DAW and rescan plugins. MIDISketch appears in your VST3 folder automatically.
  4. Click Activate in the trial banner and enter your email and license key.
