MIDI INNOVATION AWARDS 2026 · VOTING HAS CLOSED
Thank you for voting
Public voting has closed. Thank you to everyone who voted for MIDISketch under Commercial Software Products.
The MIDI Innovation Awards are run by the MIDI Association, NAMM and Music Hackspace, and they exist to put a light on people doing something genuinely new with MIDI.
MIDISketch is one person's answer to a problem most producers just live with: expression is something you are supposed to perform, on hardware, or program one number at a time. Here you draw it. Pitch is a line you sketch, and every note carries its own.
That matters beyond this plugin. MIDI 2.0 makes per-note expression native, but it stays abstract while using it means buying hardware built for it. Drawing needs no hardware. Read the FAQ on MIDI 2.0 for the longer version.
