Is there a MIDISketch crack?

There are modified copies of older versions around, as there are for most plugins. I can't vouch for them. The free trial is the full current version, so there is no need to gamble on one to find out whether MIDISketch is for you.

Is MIDISketch free?

The seven-day trial is, with nothing held back. After that it is $45 once, with lifetime updates and activation on two computers. There is also a referral route: share your code, and after five confirmed purchases your own license is free.

Is a cracked or modified installer safe?

I don't know what was changed in a download I didn't build, so I can't tell you it is safe. The official installers are signed and notarised, and if one of those misbehaves you can ask me.
